RN - GEROPSYCHIATRIC UNIT
Experienced RN (minimum one year) to work with adult and geriatric patients; current BCLS and AB 508 training required. Responsibilities include:
• Assessing patient and family needs and completing admission assessment documentation.
• Initiating Patient treatment Plan form assessment information which includes nursing diagnoses, goals and interventions.
• Documenting patient status at the time of admission, transfer or discharge to and from nursing unit.
• Setting priorities in planning for patient needs to include patient and/or family teaching.
• Communicating with and utilizing available resources within the facility and community in planning all aspects of nursing care.
