Services include diagnostic radiology, mammography, ultrasound, whole-body-computed tomography, angiography, nuclear medicine and bone densitometry.

Dixie Lee Ratliff Breast Healthcare
For more than a decade, Verdugo Hills Hospital’s Dixie Lee Ratliff Breast Healthcare Center has offered full-service breast imaging. A female medical director oversees our Breast Healthcare Center and is available to help with any questions or concerns that patients have.

Patients can go from first mammogram screening to diagnosis without ever leaving the hospital. Our state-of-the-art ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy equipment allows VERDGUO HILLS HOSPITAL radiologists to perform core biopsies, which means we can diagnose suspicious tissue quickly.

Electronic Images
Verdugo Hills Hospital is one of a handful of medical facilities in the Los Angeles area to store, transmit, and archive radiological images digitally. The recently implemented system allows our radiologists to capture images directly onto a secure Intranet from which physicians can access the images and read the reports from their offices or anywhere else via the Internet. This system enhances accuracy and efficiency.
